The Beauty of Gaganbawada
Its a historical Place Famous for Swami Gagangiri & Kille Gagangad.
Its one of the Heavy rain fall taluka from Kolhapur. Situated inbetween Tal konkan and Ghat Region. Average Rain fall 1400 mm. and around 4000ft high from sea level. Best season to visit Sept to Oct. MTDC and other Private Guest Houses provides u good accomodation.
Rich with annular Flora like Utricularia, Habenaria, Pectilis, Costus, Drosera, Ophioglossum, Narvellia, Lucas, Balsom's, Erioculon, and lot many plants......Along with Flora Fauna Like No. of Flycatchers including Paradise & Tickles, Pheasents, Moorhens, Grey Hornbills, Orioles; Butterflies like Blue oak leaf; etc

Nearest Math Of Gagangiri Maharaj Is quite expressive along with Gagangad fort.
